North Liberty residents are privileged to have a police department, fire station, and ambulance service right here in town.

  • The North Liberty Police Department consists of 4 full time and 5 part time officers and has a station located right on Main Street.
  • The Liberty Township Volunteer Fire Department is located in the heart of town with highly trained and devoted individuals serving our community.
  • The Liberty Township Ambulance Service is a volunteer service with a group of committed and caring medical professionals.

    The Town of North Liberty is located 17 miles southwest of the crossroads of IN-4 and IN-23 in southwest St. Joseph County. ...Established in 1915, this all-volunteer department includes 22 members who respond to 130 runs each year. LTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to 2000 residents and 56 square miles including the Town of North Liberty and all of Liberty Township.
